Definition of a Thank-You Page (In Under 100 Words)

In digital marketing, a Thank-You Page is a web page that loads after a form has been filled out on a business’ website.

Thank you pages serve five important functions for businesses and organizations:

  1. To show web visitors gratitude for taking their time to fill out the form.
  2. To deliver an offer (if the offer is for a piece of downloadable web content).
  3. To give more information and set expectations for next actions.
  4. To follow up with a “next offer.”
  5. To return navigation to the company’s website (if the landing page had navigation and footers removed).
