Report on This
How are your reps at emailing??
Ever wonder if your reps totally stink at writing sales emails? Well, there’s a few ways to find out.
- If you’re using HubSpot Sales Tools heavily, and using Templates and/or Sequences, you can go to the Sales Content Analytics tools to get a breakdown of how those specific assets are performing.
- However, your reps probably write a lot of one-off, or off-the-cuff emails. Did you know you can create a report that shows the number of email REPLIES you are getting from your sales emails? Oh yeah you can!!
For this, we’re going to filter by Activities Date is this quarter, Activity = Email Reply from Contact, and Activity Assigned to = whatever reps we want to look at.
If we pull in the Activity Date property, and the Activity Assigned To property in the custom report builder, we can create a view of the number of replies over time, broken out by rep.
This is especially interesting for Business Development Reps who do a lot of cold outreach!
Here's what the report looks like:
And here's a video showing you exactly how to create this:

HubSpot Wishlist: Chatbot Quick replies: edit possibilities
“When building chatbots, it would be great to edit the quick replies added under a message for two reasons:
- Right now I have to delete it and add it again (and it would be added after the last one).
- I can't move the quick replies (so I have to delete all of them and add them all again giving the order I want).” - Stellaivano
Blah, this is so frustrating!
HubSpot Updates
Three Updates to the Email Tool
“First, for those who have just started your small business, you might not have your own company domain email address yet. We've recognized that small businesses that are just starting out might not have a company domain email address yet -- and that's OK! You should still be able to run email marketing campaigns. Now, you can pick any of these addresses and you'll be given a notice of what happens next.
Second, we've improved the From name and From address inputs in the drag and drop Marketing Email editor for all Marketing Hub customers.
Third, we've updated the way you can clean up your unsubscribed or bounced contacts to improve your email deliverability."
