This episode of the Hubcast is brought to you by Qwilr.
We told you last episode that we’ll be doing a live Hubcast recording at INBOUND, now we want to know:
What are you hoping to take away from INBOUND this year?
Property of the Week: Company Property Series
Company Domain Name
“The company's website domain. HubSpot Insights uses this domain to provide you with basic information about the company. Every property marked with an asterisk (*) can be populated automatically by HubSpot Insights once the domain name is populated.”
If your contact’s email address has a different domain than their company, you can manually populate the Company Domain Name property and get all of the associated HubSpot Insights.
What’s on Marcus’ Mind
Marcus has a lot on his mind this week - specifically when it comes to businesses using video on landing pages. Listen to the episode to hear more!
HubSpot Wishlist: More efficient way to find and merge duplicate contacts
“Today we have to go into a Contact records and use the Merge function to find the other emails and merge them. That's a manual process. A pain for large Contact databases.
The Contact list should have a "Find and Dedup" option. The CRM should find likely duplicates not based on the email identifier but other personal identifiers: same name, similar name in same location, etc. Flag those in the list and make it easy to check the duplicate Contacts and "Merge" them.
This really needs to be done as part of the platform as growing companies, teams with many people using Gmail as part of their outreach, etc. will constantly result in new Contact records that can go unnoticed as duplicates of existing records.” - seobrien

HubSpot Updates
[Now Live] HubSpot Ads Privacy Policy Features
“HubSpot’s ads tool now features a number of new privacy policy features. We’ve 1) linked the firing of your Facebook tracking pixel and/or your Google site tag to your HubSpot cookie consent banner, 2) made it so contacts deleted from HubSpot will be removed from any audiences (Facebook or Google) syncing to lists in HubSpot, and 3) we’ll sync lead ad consent fields over from Facebook automatically.”
TLDR; HubSpot Ads has been updated for GDPR.
[Now Live] Support for Multiple Users & Multiple Facebook Ads Accounts within the Ads Add-on
“Ads add-on users can now connect multiple Facebook Ads accounts within HubSpot. As an extension of this update, multiple users, not just one, can connect Facebook Ads accounts as well.”

[Now Live] Change the order of your email Subscriptions
“You can now change the order in which your email subscriptions appear when someone reaches your manage email subscription preferences page.”
[HubSpot Connect] - Typeform Integration
“Typeform is a product that enables you to create mobile-ready quizzes, contact forms, and signup forms that automatically sync with your HubSpot CRM.”
***In other news - not to bring us down or anything, but Typeform recently had a major data breach.
[HubSpot Connect] - Visible Integration
“Visible is a product that enables you to gather and visualize your HubSpot data alongside other data sources in reports for quick and comprehensive data insights.”
