"Understanding Your 'One Thing':" (MarketHER Episode #7)

As marketers, we advise our clients to be innovative, different than competitors, and to find what makes their company remarkable.

We tell them that this “remarkable-ness” is what makes them stand out, what will attract the right people to their business, and in the end what will help make them more successful.

But what about us?

What's our own personal value proposition? It’s hard to define and then articulate what about is unique about who we are and what we have to offer the world.

One of our co-hosts, Britt Schwartz, starting asking herself the question, “What is my ‘one thing’? My one thing that makes me ‘me’ and that makes me remarkable?

Needless to say, that is a very difficult question to ask.

As with most topics, the concept of "one thing" came up during a MarketHER conversation and we decided to turn it into an episode.

In this episode of MarketHER, we delve into the concept of this "one thing;" whether it’s real and if so, it is even important?

We share from three different perspectives, where each of us is at an understanding, defining, and articulating what our thing is, and we offer up some well-intentioned advice on how to find your thing.

Enjoy!
