When to Think About Starting a Family (ft. RMACT's Courtney Paige) [MarketHer Ep. 30]
Apr 11, 2018
Having kids isn't usually something we really start doing until after we're married. It seems like today most of us put our careers and education first.
We plan our future around our career paths, retirement, when we will buy our first house, a new car -- but, we don't talk about planning for a family.
That's what we want to change with today's episode of MarketHer.
Courtney works closely with IMPACT on marketing tactics and the goals of her company, but this week, we wanted her to join our show to educate people on the processes, fears, and challenges people have around building a family.
Over the years, my team has learned a lot about the steps necessary to start thinking about and planning a family.
During the podcast, Courtney shares great insights that we dig into during our chat, including:
- The challenges people face when beginning to start a family - especially when you're also building a career.
- The challenges men face - that we don't talk about often.
- Their April 26th event: "What Is Your Real Fertility Age? (FREE Consult for Attendees)"
The key takeaway for me is to really plan in advance. Even when you're not ready today, learning what you don't know can really help you in the future, but give it a listen!
