IMPACT Updates
Where we share updates from IMPACT that you need to know!
IMPACT's Virtual Holiday Party
IMPACT has grown to be not only a bigger company but to have a larger portion of our staff be remote. As a result, we've been doing some things differently such as our holiday party. For years, IMPACT's holiday party was an in-person event in Connecticut near our HQ office. Remote team members flew in for the week and celebrated together. Now that we've grown we encountered challenges including the expense of flying in so many remote team members, the challenge of pulling people away from their families for a week right before the holidays, and just finding space for everyone in our office space!
This year, for the first time, we had a virtual holiday party. It began with a day of giving where IMPACT gave every employee $25 to spend on something that would make them happy. We were encouraged to share our experiences on Slack with the team as we took the afternoon off to have fun. Team members used the funds for experiences like escape rooms and axe throwing, fun food and drinks, and some even chose to give back to a charity or cause of their choice. The following day we all signed onto a Zoom call and shared our experiences. The leadership team presented awards that we do every year and we shared some videos we had created during the week. We had fun together, laughed and cheered together, and it was a great way to wrap up the week before the holiday break.

This just proves there are fun a unique ways to do things for your remote team that don't have to be in person. It also doesn't have to be a holiday party! You can do quarterly team meetings, bonding events, and more. Is there something cool that your company did for the holidays? A great remote solution you've discovered? Let us know in Elite!
The IMPACT HQ Office Has Moved!

Content Strategy Tips for Beginners

Nick even shared that he did a session at INBOUND and much of what he covered had to do with content strategy and what makes an inbound content strategy successful. Check out his presentation called "HubSpot Reboot: 5 Secrets Marketers Wish They Had Known the First Time Around."
